They have items that can be vegan. I enjoyed my meal. It was tasty and heat hot throughout my entire eating time. I had the Japchae with Tofu. It's like glass noodles but made with. Sweet potato. Delicious! Service was friendly and kind a little delayed but overall good. I would recommend for families that have different dietary needs amount them.
Atmosphere, food, and service was amazing. For starters we had the Pop Mandoo, and for my main meal I had the bibimbap. The sweet soy sauce was delicious and the bimbimbap was sizzling upon arrival. I didn’t necessarily love how the rice was getting hard over time (because the bowl was so hot), but I understand that’s normal. Overall great first experience and the water was extra cold :).
This was my first time (and my friend’s first time) dining here, and it turned out to be such a great surprise. We originally came because our go-to spot was closed, but I’m so glad we ended up here instead! The drinks were perfect—well-balanced and refreshing. The appetizers came out fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for the meal. The beef ribs were the highlight: juicy, tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. And the miso soup… it felt like a warm hug from Grandma—comforting, rich, and exactly what you’d want on any day. The quality of the food was outstanding, and it truly felt worth every dollar I spent. I left full, happy, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Korean food!
From the minute we walked in to all the smells we knew this place would be good! So delicious. Service was great too. Many great options made it hard to decide as well!
Went due to recommendation from a friend & co-worker. It was fabulous. Was hungry so I did not take a pic of our appetizer (Kimchi Bulgogi nachos). Very good!
Let me start by saying I found the place on google and I’m glad I did. It’s locating in the downtown area I got lucky to get street parking right in front of the restaurant. Pretty busy there though as a wait so I decided to sit at bar since I was alone. Nick greeted me with a smile he was amazing answered all my questions about the menu and gave some of his own recommendations. I started of with the trio appetizer and added the veggie mandoo which were delicious. I decided to get the Bimbimbap which came with miso soup that tasted great.
I don't often eat Korean or fusion restaurants. I was on a business trip and decided to try 929 Kitchen & Bar after finding on Google close by my hotel. It was delicios! I felt like going for something unique that I normally don't eat, so I decided on their Spicy Squid and Pork Belly Stir-Fry. The "chef's special spicy sauce" was incredible! It was nice and spicy, but the overall taste was the best part. I ate as much as I could with my chopsticks, and then finished the rest off with my spoon. 😄 I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend this restaurant for some great Korean food.
Great little spot with lots of options to choose from. The beef short ribs and fish shape pastry were phenomenal! And the Japchae with beef was amazing. Whole staff from hostess to servers were genuinely friendly. Our server Nick was very knowledgeable of the menu and each dish. And they played great back ground music! Ate here twice within a week. Can’t wait to come back!
Got the cream curry udon with fried tofu and the banchan trio— amazing, and the best food I have had in Columbia so far! The server was also very nice and attentive. Everything also came out quite quickly, even during a bit of a rush.
The ambience and service were great. Very quick getting appetizers out. Reasonably priced. Good food although I wish that they had soft tofu but only have fried tofu. I would come back!
